H2O pump w/ opti?

Should I be replacing my water pump while i do the opti replacement? I havent had any problems with the water pump and i have 63k on the thing. Also if you do recommend the new water pump whats the best price out there?

Why is your opti bad? You only need to get a new waterpump if it (the waterpump) is going bad. If it's fine leave it but when changing the opti it is the most idle time to make the change.

AutoZone sells them pretty cheap. I think around $140 with a lifetime warranty. You could also upgrade to an electric pump for about $200 and get some extra cooling but a lot of people don't like electric pumps because they can suddenly go bad and leave you stranded with an overheating car.

Any idea how long the electric ones last?

The one in my car has been running strong for over a year. It's a daily driver too. I've heard of peoples electric pumps going after a month though. Officially Meizier has a 2500 hour run time on their unit.
