H20 Pump Wiring?

I'm wiring my H20 pump and was wondering where to tap into for power. I don't want to use power from the fuel pump. I want the pump to run when the key is in the on position only. I also don't want the engine to be on for the pump to work.

send it through your firewall if you want like a gauge. I hooked my wire up to a male connector and just plugged it into the plug next to the ignition fuse in the fuse box. How much amps does it require? I can send you a pic if you like.

It doesn't pull much power. I just want to be able to prime the system w/o the car on.

You need to use a relay. I used my ignition circuit as my switched source.
