Question Guys who've changed pads without resurfacing the rotors

im doing the LS1 brake upgrade right now. I'll being buying a new set of ceramic pads from Napa. My LS1 rotors have about 7000 miles on them and they basically have only surface rust and slight wear marks.
Will my pads squeek until they conform to the contour of the rotor? should I have my rotors turned?

I'd get them turned, it's really cheap and a good idea just to make sure they are even. JMO though.

Unless your rotors are warped I wouldn't bother. Did you noticed any shaking when you slowed down with the old pads? I replaced mine without surfacing the rotors and mine work like a charm. No shakes, just nice smooth braking.

There was no shaking prior to me taking the brake assembly out but im replacing the whole thing... besides the master cylinder..
Lines, calipers, pads, and rotors.

did you notice how deep the grooves were in your old rotors hsyr?
Mine just have surface rust and tiny grooves that you'd get out of a rotor after a few thousand miles.

I have never had a set of rotors turned. I always just put new pads in and forget about it.

If they are really bad I usually just toss them and get new ones, rotors are cheap anyways.

Turning them is a waste of money IMO.
