Guys with Jet Hot LT's. How'd you install the pass. header?

I've installed several different brands and of headers on different LT1's including FLP's on my own car. I decided to swap to the Jet Hots but I can't seem to get the passanger header in. It goes almost all the way in then where the 4 primaries come together it is to thick and hits on the tranny and the k memeber, and the heater case. going in from the top I get stuck at the same place on the k-member and the heater box, any suggestions?? I got the driver side in and all installed no problem, but the pass. side is kicking my ***.

I jacked mine up ~32" or so. Removed the oil tube and starter, slipped right in.

tubular K-member and your done. Best investment you can make. Long tubes will slip right in no problem.

Like the others said, you'll have to jack the motor up.

I jacked up the motor and slightly grinded the k-member where it was tight to avoid scratching that jet hot coating.

Pretty much the same as everyone, I had to take the valve cover off and jack up the motor. Went in from the top for me.

I put the passenger side in from the top. Had to get it started going in with the motor down, then jack it up. Had to take the valve cover off on mine also though.
