Guys with FLP's, how do you...

Get the #2 and #5 plugs back in? I've been working all day on changing my plugs and wires, and I finally just have to put those 2 back in, but it is a major pain in the ***. Any suggestions?

With 2 I put the plug in the plug socket/w short extension and line it up and start by hand. Don't know if you pulled the alt. but it helps....sucks to go that far, I know.

With number 5 I reach through under the header along the block from #1 (my air pump is removed so I have the room) and support the bottom of the plug with my left hand fingers and then take the plug with my right hand and line it up with the hole then use both hands (fingers) to get the plug started. NO. 5 is the plug from hell with FLP's.

Good Luck!

For the #5 plug, remove the starter. I got a regular spark plug socket and cut it down. With the starter removed you can thread it in by hand and then finish it off with the cut down socket. A short open end wrench also helps cause there isn't a lot of room obviously. Good luck

Thats #6

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking that #2 could be done with the alt out of the way. I'm gonna try to get #5 from the bottom by removing the heatshield that runs along the base of the head. Looks like of that was outta the way I could get it started from below.
