guys with bmr weld in rlc brackets inside please....
I just got some rlc brackets from someone but they didnt have the bolts, anyone know what size they are? and also what kind of welder did you use to weld them up with? i only have a 88 amp 120 volt stick welder with 3/16th rods is that enough? thanks for the help.........
I just emailed their tech guys and here is the info we need:
Yes, you can get sufficient penetration with anything 75 amps or higher. You will need two 12mm bolts approximately 4" long, two 12mm nuts, and eight 1/2" large diameter washers. You will also need two spacers to keep the stock rear end bracket from crushing when the bolts are tightened. The spacers need to be the same width as the control arm. If you don't have these available, we sell the complete hardware kit for $14.95. Just give us a call at 813-655-3983 to place an order.
Thanks,
