guys with !ABS inside please

I am thinking of putting my 12bolt out of my camaro in the ta and its not setup for abs. so why have the xtra weight. my ? is did this cause you any problems with breaking a such. and how did you go about putting the lines to the master cly. to the brakes. TIA Sean

i dno't have abs /w my 9" and i have no problems.. i haven't even removed the abs stuff yet though ... I'm interested to know also.. though...

A Currie 9" rear end housing made of aluminium is $550 brand new! Add a Reider Racing center section, weld on some custom brackets out of aluminum and you have a 75lb rear end

whats that have to do with !ABS

Its related to it like this...

Guy wants a rear end, wants to save some weight, instead of dropping $2500+ on a nearly 200lb rear end, you can spend $750 less on the same thing, have it lighter, since your not using ABS anyway... just a thought.
