Guy doing machine work says springs that come with HOTcam kit may not work??

I did the same thing, the LT4 springs are marginal. Told the shop to put different springs on there. Find out what kind he put on there. I did this and ended up with several messed up valve seals and inner dampners broken and eventually a broken spring. For whatever reason, he put springs on there that would take the lift but it did not fit right on the heads.

SO, $45 springs scare me, mine were $60ish, I later sent them off and had CC977s put on but those require machining....just letting you know and to find out the springs he chose, go with a company you know....not PBR or Competition Products....

Dont like GM springs. go with K-motion, Isky, comp, crane, but not GM.
