wonder how it would sound as is? put a high flow cat in there (under $75 from summit and outflows stock) and even without the muffler you are legal in Michigan

Looks like a pretty good idea if you put a nice flowing muffler before it. It's pretty cheap to. Worth a try if you need something cheap.

Does mimic the slp loudmouth, like Nox1d3 said, if you place a bullet type muffler/resonator in the i-pipe it will decrease the noise. SLP LM is cleaner with madrel mends and of course is stainless steel. Trust me, with out the bullet type muffler after the y-pipe that connects to your headers, it is way too loud. I went with a 30 inch stainless bullet type muffler that is in the new product line at summit racing and it sounds awsome. Fits perfect in line with our tunnel.

Just noticed your project 1969, nice, it looks to be in good shape, trade you a 1967 chevy truck short bed with 1978 350, well 355, 410s and some other goodies. Just kidding, i could probably only get around $3000 for mine around here. It sucks having too many projects with a loving wife with a watchful eye of what you buy but i have become preaty skilled in the art of convincing her why i need this part why i need that part etc. Gas milage right.
