gutted magnaflow cat back exhaust

I have a 94 Formula with Mac mid headers and K&N CAI, I was wondering how good or bad it would sound after installing a magnaflow cat back and getting rid of my cat converter.Any suggestions, currently have a flowmaster muffler and stock piping.

Re: gutted magnaflow cat back exhaust

When I first installed my long tubes, I ran an off-road y-pipe which obviously did not have the cats. This would in most cases add a degree of raspiness to the exhaust. I never had that problem with the Magnaflow catback as it really cleans up the noise, a little too well in my opinion. It is a great catback, very tame at idle and really roars at WOT. I installed a cutout now though to louden things up a bit.

I have the Edelbrock mids, an offroad pipe, and the magnaflow catback. You will be very pleased with the sound. I have actually had people ask me if it had a big block in it.
