Disconnect fuel line, loosen 4 bolts, pull up fuel rail.

Remove the little clips, throw them in the trash.

Pull out old injector, put a little Lube on the new O-ring if you want, slide them up in.

bolt it back on and reconnect the fuel lines.

Dont start it without tuning to compensate for the new injectors.

Re: guide for changin injectors?

There isnt a guide, because its so simple. Just take off the bolts holding down the fuel rail (9mm i believe) and then pull it up. Keep a rag on hand to clean up spilled gas. Then just slip the new ones in. Should take about 15 mins tops. If the o-rings dont come out, then get a screwdriver and carefully pull them out.

Voilla... done.

Re: guide for changin injectors?

where do i disconnect the fuel rail from? (like wherever it gets fuel from) or do i even need to do that?

do i fully need to take out the fuel rail, or just sliding it out a bit will do the trick?

You dont need to remove the fuel rail. Just lift it up. Dont disconnect the lines. Thats more work than is necessary.

You dont HAVE to disconnect the lines btw. Just be careful b/c fuel will spill out when you pop that first injector out. Also its very important to lube those o-rings or you might end up ripping one and not finding out till your car nearly bursts into flames... trust me its not a fun experience.

It's much easier on you if you disconnect the lines and pull the rail off. Make sure to also take the vacuum hose of the FPR on the back. Your back will thank you.

Please relieve the pressure first. Unscrew the gas cap then push in the schrater (sp?) valve with a screwdriver or whatever. Have a rag ready to wipe up the fuel. You will be in for "gas in ya face" if you pull a injector off with any pressure in the line.

Re: guide for changin injectors?

You can do it without removing the fuel lines from the Rail. I just installed some Comp R's in my motor and i didn't take the fuel rail off. I just tucked it back behind the motor. I would of pulled the fuel lines but a friend (turbo_z) had my tool, Azzhole. If you don't have access to a fuel line remover just do it with them hooked up. By the way the bolts are 8mm. I have to take them out everytime i remove my Ram Air, which is almost everytime i work on the damn car.
