Guesstimated 1/8 mi ET's?

I'm heading out to a local 1/8th mile track tonight for a test & tune session to get some baseline numbers before I do any mods to the car. Never having run on a half-track, what should I expect out of a stock '97 Z28 M6? Everything is stone stock, with around 30K on the drivetrain, and the motor is running strong with no problems.
Also, does anyone have a conversion chart for converting 1/8 mi ET's to 1/4 mi ET's? I know there was one in a Hot Rod or Popular Hot Rodding several years back, but I have yet to track down the particular article. Thx

Multiply 1/8 ET by 1.55.

Low 9's should not be a problem in decent weather, non-mountain tracks...

Good luck.

Low 9's is a very general guess. Maybe even high 8's but low 9's are far more likely. As I recall, my first pass ever was a high 10 in my completely stock car as I smoked the tires all through first gear and bounced off the rev limiter.

And did you continue to drive on home after that run?

OK, track ended up being closed tonight, so I didn't get to make any passes. Appreciate the conversion factor and the guesstimates though! I just wish when they're supposed to have Thursday night Test-n-tunes, they actually have them! Oh well, maybe next week!
