I am getting one of my dad's friends to scan my pcm for a sporatic SES light that comes on once every few weeks. Symtoms: no performance loss , good gas mileage, and a ses that pops on when i come to slow stop from under 50mph (it basically runs normal). I had it scanned about 1 year ago (last April) and it said it was EGR related, and it disappeared by itself. I am hoping it is the same thing. I also had a friend a friend who said it was bad gas since i got gas at different places then i usually do when it comes on, could that be true?
