Lightbulb GTP Flow #'s? What is good?

What are typical flow #'s for GTP Stage 2 heads? I know there are varialbles but what would be close?

Thanks

Thumbs down

I have flowed a few sets and they seem to be about 255 cfm at .600 lift. Worse set flowed 248 and best set flowed 261 but 255 is about average. Flow benches vary and some might show higer/lower but this is what they do on my bench with a 4.155 bore and 1/2 inch clay lip on intake.

The exhaust ports are always about 185 or so with no pipe.

The GTP heads that I have flowed were all the "stage II" with 2.00/1.56 valves. Not sure how many different ones they offer or what #'s to expect from them.

Will dirty carbon filled heads make a difference on a flow bench for accuracy? I know there are many variables but I am just learning this part...

Thanks

If they are very carboned up and there are chunks in the ports, YES, if they are kinda dirty, probably not. If there is carbon on the backside of the valves and it has developed a "ridge" where the valves are sealing on the valves and the intake seats, thet wil definitely hurt CFM, especially the low lift #'s.
If this is there the engine was probably sucking a lil oil from some where. Could be sucking oil from guides, seals, rocker studs, intake gasket leak, etc. but you might wanna have them checked before installing them.
