grrr...MAP readings:code 33 on Scanmaster, also Lean o2's both sides..need some help!
well i have a dtc code 33 from my scan master. i am currently running my nitrous use only o2's on the car. i have to finish running a tank of sunoco 94 thru it before changing back. i also have codes for the o2's that they are seeing a lean condition, i am assuming leaded fuel has that effect on them...
so the car is running pig rich when I go wot it is like a small smoke screen behind me, doh! on part throttle it seems to be ok. unfortunately my maf translator plus is out getting fixed. i may decreasae the fuel pressure a bit, but that is merely a short term fix. should i just replace the MAP sensor? i recently cleaned it. but i had the code before i even touched it. is there any chance it became contaminated? or is there another condition that might cause it to read high. maybe it is the cam that is in the motor now????? i may try the wifes MAP sensor on my car to see if it still provides that same code??? or not???
anytips or advice is greatly appreciated!

its easy to tell if the MAP sensor is functioning properly. since you have a scanmaster it will be really easy! just see if the MAP increases with engine load and TPS.. the higher the TPS.. the more load on the engine.. the higher the MAP. at WOT the MAP should equal the bar reading too.

thanks, i just started the car up to warm up, i am heading out to a local cruise. i will keep an eye on it!
i have read that also the map could be around 18 with a radical cam in the motor, i fall under that category! lol!
