why does it have to be replaced? is the entire wire damaged?
www.shbox.com may have some schematics to help you out. if not then you should get yourself a haynes or equivalent.

I'm not sure if it needs to be replaced all I know is that the car is getting intermitent spark and i checked everything and all has power so I'm guessing a bad ground, also my wires are all pretty ****ty from sitting for the last 5 years.
