Griffin radiator?

I'm installing my Griffin radiator and I was wondering if anybody had any instructions? Its supposed to be a direct replacement, but I am having to fab and cut some things and its still not fitting right. Primarily the plastic radiator hold down piece.

The Griffin seemed to be a bit taller than stock. The shop that installed mine had to cut down the top support piece to allow it to sit low enough for the ram air box to sit on top of it. Other than that there were no problems. I did delete the A/C, eliminating the condensor, so that might have made the install easier.

Yes it is a bit taller. I also notice that the wire harness on the drivers side of the motor makes contact with the radiator. I notched a hole in the front subframe so that the harness will fit in there allowing the radiator to sit up a little more vertical and closer to the front. I am also deleting the AC for better cooling.

Is that plastic radiator hold down needed to help direct the airflow or could I make some brackets out of aluminum?

I think the stock hold down has a foam seal in it, but its so long ago that I did the swap (2000) that I can't remember. My hold down is actually bolted directly into the top of the radiator. I don't remember any wiring problems, but again, the car is so far from stock at this point that it isn't going to have the same problems.
