Granattelli MAS
i bought one because i found one on ebay for $100. I put it in and did not feel a difference. It was one of those things where i like to make myself feel better to try and have all the bolt ons. If you can score one cheap or need to replace your stock one then you could consider it but otherwise there are plenty of things you could buy to see some real gains.
depends on who you ask. superchevy got about 16 rwhp increase ater installing one on a cold air 96z28.
mine feels great - car pulls stronger all the up to redline, dunno what dyno gains i got, but a worthwhile bolt on in my book.

I bought one because the price was right. I have also done some
dyno A/F monitoring to verify that it's working properly with my
setup. Mine was fine out of the box but some have A/F issues when
they install one.
As far as value goes, your money is probably better spent on
something else.

It basically tricks the pcm into running the motor leaner than the pcm is programmed to which can make more power with a stock tune, but can also be done with reprogramming which will cost less be more accurate and give you so much more than just tweaking the AF ratio. Simply put $100 is too much, they have a well know track record for causing drivability problems in mdified vehicles. This is because to tuning for the mods or the mods them selves have the pcm set to a near ideal AFR and the GMAF causes the AFR to become overly lean.
