Then i went to the store over there and when i came out my car wouldent start...then i let it sit for about 30 secs and it started but it was only idling at about 500 rpm and i would punch the gas and it would drop to about 350-400 then go back to 500 wouldent go any higher..then i turned it off...let it sit for about 2 mins... Tryed it again and it started....then later i was driving and i went to get on it and it wouldent go my rpm were going up very slowly and the car was barley moving....if anyone knows what it is could u plz let me know..thank you

ok so i changed the opti.. and it ran ok for about 1 min...then started doing the same stuff... but running a little worse...then i switched all teh wires adn plugs now the car runs even worse...it will start for about 2 seconts then die..wont start for the next to cracnks then starts on the 3rd for about 2 seconts again...it keeps the same pattern almost....then my freind said he seen sparks form the senscer thing i believe on top of the intake...anyone got any help on wat could be wrong?
Have you ever scanned it for codes? Have you checked the fuel pressure? Have you had the IC Module tested?
What "senscer thing.... on top of the intake"? The only sensor on top of the intake is the MAP sensor. Is this what you are asking about:

When he "seen sparks"..... where was it sparking?
Also notice you have provided ZERO info about the car - what year? - what mods, if any?
When the engine "started getting hot"..... how hot did it get? Is it still running hot?
.... "we checked it and the back of the cat is fine". A clogged cat would not necessarily be "visible".

ive tried scannign it for codes but nothing pops up...
Going to check the fuel pressure tomarrow...
Dont know what the ic module is?
And yea thats the sensor i was talking about...
Its a 94 camaro...bone stock
the feul pressure should be what??
If it was sparking up top it sounds like coil or ignition control module.

Your coil will be black unless its MSD. Have someone else crank while you look. If they are sparking replace them.

Check the vac line of the regulator to make sure it's not wet. If so, replace it. Then pinch the return line to see if the pressure comes up. If not, pump is shot. Replace the tank sock and the inline fuel filter at the same time.
At idle, vacuum line off the FPR you want 43.5psi, with 41-47psi acceptable. Attach the vacuum compensation line, and it will drop by about 8psi (33-39psi). At WOT/full engine load pressure should not drop below 40psi.
Why not put the info about your car in your "signature"? It would help people help you.
