got new times.
got new times.
i know this is not completely related to lt1 tech, but i felt it best to be put here. anyways
i went to our local 1/8 mile track. the best run i had was a 9.19 @ 78.4X w/ a horrible 2.225 60' time.
my mods are a completely built transmission w/ a 2500 stall converter and a k&n fipk.
that run was without wot of the line and no stalling of the line. with traction, wot of the line, and stalling i should easily be in the 8's on a piece of $hit track. when i say this track sucks, i mean it to.
pretty pleased overall. kind of disappointed, but that's because i know there is alot of room for improvement. in a week or two i am getting my magnaflow cat-back, so that will help(not my traction problem though).

correct me if i'm wrong, but a 9.19 1/8 would equate to about a high 13, or very low 14. That's not bad for what you have.
Also, what kind of gears are you running. I had similar times in the 1/8 and 60 ft, but with 2.73's.

i also have 2.73's.
i know i may sound like i am complaining about those sixty. not bad from idle. but i have a stall converter and i couldn't even use it because of the traction problem. i can't go wot of the line because i tried that the second time with stalling to around 1000 and i almost pulled of a 2.5 sixty time.
i just know there is alot more room for improvement once i can properly use my engine and stall (nitto's). overall, i am pretty happy.
