Heys guys I have a 95 formula and i just got my new cam today (comp 224/230) and the doll pin on the end of the new cam is much longer than the one on my old cam. I thought that 95 and up had the longer doll pin and the 93-94 had the shorter one. I am wonder why i have the shorter one. Also what should i do. Cut the new one or try to take the old one out and put it in the new cam. If you guys could help me out that would be great because i would like to get the cam in tonight.

Also if by chance someone knows, how long are each of them.

Since you have a '95 this seems hard to belive. All I can think of is that the new pin is to long even for the new vented opti that came in '95. Either take a hammer and lightly tap it into the cam to make it the same length as the old cam, or trim it. When I got my hotcam I was able to tap the pin in but not as far as it needed to go. I used a dremel to trim the rest off and it worked fine.

They come longer so you can adjust the length yourself.
