Which drag radials are better? BFGs or Nittos

Anybody out there who can tell me which drag radials are better? I'm running 13.80s @ 102 with a 2.2 60 ft. I'm getting ready to install a 2400 holeshot and some pulleys. What can I expect from these mods? I need a better 60 ft!!!!

Nittos will last longer, but BFGs hook better.

If the car ever gets driven in the rain I would suggest against the BFGs. Seriously after about 400 miles they are deadly in the rain. And on the street they hook about the same but on the track is where the BFGs will out-do the Nittos.

Drag radials in general are deadly in the rain. Anyone should know not to drive in the rain with them.

I've got the BFGs on my IROC, had them on for over a year, and haven't had problems in the rain or even in the snow. But considering they only come w/ 3/32 of tread, It is a little more difficult to drive in snow/ rain. I'll bet I could slap 'em on my T/A and have about the same results. I guess it depends on the driver. I haveseen several mags do tests on the two tires, and the BFGs came out on top. Just my $ .02

Nittos are generally better for all purpose driving. They have a slightly thicker and deeper tread than the BFGs. Traction depends on whether or not ur gettin nitto 555 or 555R.

I have seen more cars cut better 60's around here with teh BFGs though.

If the car is going to see a good number of miles on the streets go with the Nittos. If its mainly a track car and a cruising car every now and then, then go with the BFGs. The BFGs will hook up better at the track than the Nittos, but the Nittos will last longer on the road and still handle corners pretty well too. Mine have about 10Kmiles of hard driving and quite a few passes down the track and they are finally about shot.

Cool

Ive had them both and they're both inconsistent at the track, spend a little more money and get some E.T. Streets. You'll have no problems hooking up when racing.
