Lloyd does nice work doesn't he. I know you can't give exact specs but give us a rough idea about the cam, if you will? Any hopes as far as track times or dyno numbers?

Well, I'm going to be running a mid-sized Joe O. Cam that I purchased before getting the heads done. It's a proven performer!

I'm hoping for at least 420/420.

Who know's....Everyone's setup is a unique animal!

Now that really is a "rough" idea of the cam specs. I personally am shooting for 400/380 on the stock shortblock this spring before moving on to a larger cam. Which I guess would be a mid size Joe O. cam. That's if he'll do me the honer once again.

300cfm from LT4s is easy.

You will get better numbers from stock valve LT4s than you will fromstock valve LT1s every day of the week. 2.00/1.55 valves are bigger than 1.94/1.50 valves and the LT4 ports are better to start out with.

I'm sure a bigger set of valves would free up a a few more
cfm. 300cfm from these heads probably wouldn't be out of the question with
bigger valves.

300 cfm is not easy from any 23 deg, standard port location heads. If you think it's easy, your flowbench is "happy".

I tend to agree here.

Easy? No, but with some hard, skilled, work, it is
not out of reach.

Stock castings? If so, you're dreaming, or rather, your flow bench is dreaming.

I think this should say "with many, many hours on the flowbench, highly skilled work, and a very large intake valve (i.e. 2.08"), you can sometimes break 300."
