Got my dms springs and bilstein hd shocks installed having problems
dms spring from dms
4 Bilstein hd shocks-bimmerparts.com
I've had about 3 days of daily driving since the install and my car feels as if nothing was changed for the positive. My car seems to bounce more (from the back) now that i have the shocks/springs combo. The front looks alot lower but the back looks like the same height. No big deal i know i would have to give these springs time for the back to settle. The ride is practically the same except my wheel hop seems to be a little worse. I have to be alot more carefull going over bumps i've scraped 3 times already (i expected that but the rear is unstable). It seems like the shocks aren't doing their job. Im assuming this is how a car with lowering springs and stock shocks would feel. Could i have some bad shocks? I was expecting a stiffer feel when its the complete opposite. Wouldn't these shocks give me stiffer feel? I was expecting a night/day difference and i didn't. Buying these shocks/springs slowed me down from installing my headers and i feel like i wasted my money.
My car's suspension is totally stock with brand new 245/50/16 firestone firehawk tires.
Any help would really be appreciated
also i got a wheel alignment a month ago and im getting it re-aligned tomorrow hopefully that will help.

I have DMS springs . the rear heigt seemed a little high. they claim it give the car a nice rake. i removed my rear isolator and it went down another1./2" Shocks might be too heavy duty. My decarbons ride just fine on my car. I do scrape sometimes
I have dms springs with the stock shocks and mine rides about the same as it did stock.
BTW, any lowering springs will increase the posibility of wheel hop. So far i have been lucky and am not having issues with it.

If you have wheel hop, you need lower control arm relocation brackets. Especially on a lowered car. You can find them at www.bmrfabrication.com
