It is an arrow pointing down towards what looks like water? What is it? No codes are thrown in my scanmaster.
I punched it up the hill to see how bad I fishtailed and it went all over the place, pretty fun then it just revved up and didnt move forward anymore and that is when I noticed the light. Drove it back home and parked it.

It is the highest light. Right above the speedo. It looks like a low coolant light but I am not leaking any coolant. I have a small oil leak from my timing cover but it isnt coolant.
i tried looking through an online manual cause i cant find mine and no luck. My 56k is too slow.

low coolant light. you're coolant level is probably fine, the sensor probably went out, its cheap to replace or you may have some just cleaning it. It is below the radiator cap. Unplug the sensor and see if the light goes out, if it does there is your problem.
That is good news. I will try that tomorrow. I am hoping it isnt coolant in the oil.
Any reason why my car revved up like it was in neutral while I was flooring it up the hill? IT happened it seemed after it shifted into 2nd.

Im not sure, just throwing out ideas to help you. You said you were spinning the tires (fishtailing) when the light came on? Was it the idiot light that comes on when you have no traction? Maybe someone else can give you a better description. I dont have my car manual handy right at this point, nor my car for that matter.

Wow, camaros must be different than firebirds, because mine has a low coolant light, and I see nothing like the one you are talking about in the picture I found.
And the one you are talking about sounds like it is where the low coolant light is on my car. If it is that light, check your coolant. If it isn;t low, the sensor is just bad, and you can just unplug it.

Cool. I have it checked out tomorrow and run it if it isnt low and see if it does that again.
Do our cars have idiot lights for no traction? I would think that would look more like a road. Damnit why can't the camaros just have it spelled out like you firebird guys.

It's a low coolant light. If your sure your not leaking coolant then it is either your sensor or the cap isnt sealed. My sensor recently went out on mine and then light kept coming on after i had been driving for awhile. At first it would be faded and then it would become a brighter light. You supposedly can fix the sensor or you can just buy a new one. Pretty inexpensive.
