got a couple questions

man i just typed this whole thing then accidently closed it...anyway

i think my window motors are going...how long in your experience does it take for them to stop completely...i just bought the car and cant really afford to spend $100 on new motors already (damn me for not noticing this before i bought it)...i dont want the window to stop halfway down but i also dont want to get new ones yet...

also i was driving my car today and the service engine soon light comes on...the manual tells me if it is not flashing, which it isnt then it is an emissions problem...one of the ways it says to avoid this is to avoid steep upward hills (the light came on while i was in the middle of a very steep hill trying to get into first and im learning how to drive my car so of course i stalled a few times doing it)...any ideas why exactly the light came on and whether something needs fixing or if it will go off eventually

with a engine light on my car i dont want to make the 250 mile trip back to school tommorw...so now it stays at home

i can live with holding the window button for forever right now, but im not sure im going to want to wait so long for the windows to go up...

of course it doesnt matter now cuz i wont be driving the car now that i wont have it at school for probably the next month
