Hey guys , I autotapped the car tonight after a dissapointing run at richmond dragway on sunday (13.7) . I have a code 400 (EGR System) does this mean I need a new solenoid or what ??? Does it hinder performance ??? Also I noticed the fuel trims are off , the left one is -3% or so and the right one stays around -14% . I do have the fuel pressure cranked up to 46lbs but shouldnt the computer adjust itself ??? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I was getting the 0400 code in my 97. Turns out the EGR valves that year had defective sealing materials and GM has a new revised valve. I put the new valve in and the code has been gone ever since.
