got an adjustable fpr

got it from thunder racing, they reccomended one when i bought my recetronix kit, which was good because now with the new pump in, i get 44psi with the vaccum line connected and 52 with it off. i have a 93 firebird formula, i got the aeromotive one. im not too sure if its the right one though. the part number matches but id like to be sure before i rip the rails off tomorrow. it looks just like the one in this picture, http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...vid=4&pcid=164 , but the mounting bracket is on the left side, that one is on the right. any help would be appreciated. thanks alot -dave

Re: got an adjustable fpr

The 93 FPR is "opposite hand" from the 94-97 FPR. Check the exploded drawings of the fuel rails on Shoebox's Tech PAges:

93: http://shbox.com/1/fuel_rail_93.jpg

94-97: http://shbox.com/1/fuel_rail_94-97.jpg

Based on following posts on 4 different LT1 boards over the past year or so, I'd be very hesitant to buy the Aeromotive AFPR. It seems like there are an awful lot of posts about them not working right out of the box.

Why are you "ripping the rails off"?
