I am looking for a good stall but do not want to spend the money on a vigilante stall. anybody know a good one for a daily driver. i probably wont use it hard but its nice to have.

I'm running the TCI Streetfighter 2800 stall. Works very well. No complaints from me. I too did not want to spend close to $800 for a converter in a car that doesn't see the track. You can get it from Summit for $436.95. This converter really woke the car up, now I need gears to go with it.

I went with the TCI 2800 10" converter from Summit Racing. $429 shipped to me. Didnt notice any "normal" driving changes except it runs in the higher RPM more before it shifts under 1/2- full throttle. No big deal. With all my mods I still manage to get 225 miles to the tank in the city thats with alot of getting on it. And 300 to a tank on the interstate.

Tight now there is a new B&M 2400-2800 on Ebay for the 4L60E. I believe it was around $200 with the option to buy at $300.

Im more than satisfied with my converter. With a 1.75 STR Im managing 1.7 60 foot times consistanly.
