i just picked up a 94k LT4 motor out of a 96 grand sport for $800. It got a warranty replacement for low oil pressure at hot idle (reason he sold) which i posted in another thread, 10-15psi at hot, which is not terrible at all really. its a complete motor, opti is even on the front still, waterpump, wire harness, injectors. everything.

was this a great deal or what!

I didn't know the LT4 came in the grand sport? Thought they only got the baby LT1 with Iron heads instead of Aluminum ones in the fbodies.

Yeah man. Even if the bottom end is trashed, the heads and intake are worth the price you paid.

 

Ok I am officially a dumb *** as I was thinking of the impalla or caprice as for some reason I didn't think of the Vette. I am not a vette guy and didn't know that the Grand Sport was a Vette - LOL. Sorry for my ignorance guys.
