Nothing wrong with the LT4 rockers, they are supposed to be made by Crane. As for the springs, I agree with the others, don't buy them used. You just never know the complete history behind them. The LT4 spring kit is probably going to be your cheapest alternative.

miles don't really matter....you need to check each one and make sure they role smoothly no pitting gouges etc. anyone using those probly has a mild combo so they are probly fine

Thats a good price. As long as they don't have any visible cracks or damage I would go for it.

The rockers should be good for around a 10hp gain at the wheels, not bad at all.

Also Found a sick deal on these..

dual coil Comp 978 valve springs
comp 740 steel retainers
comp 611 10 degree valve locks
and I need to buy the Valve Spring Locators..

will they work fine with the Lt4 SA 1.6s Roller Rockers I have above
?

Those springs will work, theyre actually overkill. How much is the person asking for them?

I'm sure the LT4 springs are cheaper. Theyre only $40 or so. Its definately under $50 to get the springs, locks and retainers.

I found Pace to be the cheapest place to get all the parts needed for this upgrade. You could get a part from here or there and save a buck but with all the additional shipping charges you end up paying more. Plus Pace has a great reputation, and you deal with only one vendor which will save you headaches should two or three drop the ball.

So here is a completelist with part numbers from Pace including cost or each, and total:

PACE PERFORMANCE (1.6 RR Upgrade)
10212809 - Valve Spring Shim LT4: $0.75 x 16 = $12.00
10212810 - Valve Stem Seal LT4- 1 Per Package: $2.95 x 16 = $47.20
12495492 - Valve Spring Cap Kit, LT4: $19.95
12495494 - Small Block Chevy LT4 Valve Spring Kit 1.32" Diameter: $35.95
12495503 - Small Block Chevy Valve Spring Key (Keeper) Kit- Set of 32: $10.95
66915C - Proform Aluminum Roller-Rocker Arms Chevy S/B, 1.6 Ratio, 3/8" Stud Self Aligning- Set Of 16: $189.95

PACE Total: $316.00
