Good Cheap OBDII Scaner??
I have an Autoxray OBDII scanner I bought a few years ago. It works great but it wasn't exactly cheap, I paid around $250 for it. If you have a laptop there are cheaper programs you can use, I didn't have a laptop so I bought one of these. There is a cheap "code reader" available for OBDII for under $100 but it just reads and resets codes, it doesn't scan and I believe it's from Harbor Freight.
Well, I have a laptop, so that's a plus.
Also, is this AutoTap easy to use? If you have a code does a message pop up saying what it is? Is the program user friendly? Thanks.

Check out http://www.obd-2.com I've been using that software/cable for over a year and it's great. You can scan codes, log data, and monitor sensors. As far as I can tell it does everything Autotap does for half the price.
