Good air and a 11.88

Went to the track last Sunday and the DA was almost sea level. Finally improved my motor only times and ran the 11.88 with a 1.59 60ft. time. I thought this was pretty good since I'm fighting a high rpm miss issue. Hopefully I'll figure it out one of these days.

Z, congrats on the new time. I can't wait to reach the 11's. Tell me does your car lift the front wheels when you launch?

I'm on Eibach Pro lowering springs with stock shocks, so no it does'nt. A friend with a spring compressor is coming over tomorrow and we're going to put the stock springs back on the front. I cut 3/4 of a coil off, so hopefully it won't sit to high in the front. Even on the bottle with a 1.47 60ft. time it does'nt lift a wheel. If I let the air out of the air bag in the right rear it might have a chance, who knows.

My goal is to stop modding when I can lift a wheel. Well, maybe not, I said I would be happy just to have a 12 second street car...I still haven't stopped.

A low 12 second car was my goal, and as you can see it didn't stop there. In fact, I don't think it ever stops. A true gearhead goes to his grave as one. It's just the way it is.

As mentioned, the stockers went back on. Even with 3/4 of a coil cut off it's still sits about 3/4 of an inch higher now. Does'nt look as good as it use to, but I can live with it until some drag shocks and springs are put on.

Correct, no spray this time. I took some weight out to make up for the 65-70lb. roll bar and figured I would try for some new NA times. The track was packed and I didn't fell like waiting another 2-3 hrs for another run just to use the nitrous. It took almost 2 1/2 hrs. to get home with the construction going on. Maybe next time.

The front was recently taken out, and there's only a small piece of the back one left in the car.
