Gonna get the Jet Hot LT's, what about the rest of the exhaust ?

I decided to get the JEt Hot LT's and their Y Pipe and no CAT for my 94 to bolt up to the stock exhaust.
I am totally confused as to what to do with the rest of the exhaust.

1. How would the car sound if I leave the rest stock and dont change anything else other than the LT's and Y Pipe and no Cat
2. How would a cut out sound with the LT's
3. Lastly, with the LT's, what Cat back system would be recommended for good sound if I decide not to put in a cut out.

Basically, I am trying to find out what is the best sound and performance AND cost effective using the Jet Hot LT's with the Y pipe and no Cat.

I have jet-hots , cat-less y-pipe , elec cut-out and flowmaster exhaust

cut-out is very loud and raspy with the longtubes & no cats, i will only open it up at the track

I really dont like the flowmaster so i would advise you to stay away from it

I am in the same boat but already have alot of parts! Currently I have the headers installed with 2 Dynomax bullets installed about 1-2' away from the headers and it is obnoxiously loud so I am planning to build a y-pipe with 2 cutouts before I merge together then just hookup to a catback with a SLP muffler I just bought. I do have a Flowmaster forsale if someone is lokking for one for $40. Later Clint

Thumbs up

Pay attention!!! In the Group Purchase Board there's a GP going on Jet Hot Lts. The price I believe is 499.00 shipped to your door. So go check it out. I got mine for 540.00 shipped so it is a good deal. Or least it's the lowest price I've ever seen.

EDIT: Srry I didn't look at the date... Hmm email Chris and bug him to start up another GP He might give in hehe.

I have to say that the best sounding "catback" combined with LT's that i've heard is the Hooker catback. It doesnt have the rasp like all the others have. As far as the best sounding, i love the sound of true duals. They like harmonize together as the rpms raise. But they are loud. And sometimes you just dont want loud.
