Gone through 3 opti seals

I had my motor done recently(new seal #1) and it leaked oil from the opti seal.
2 days later, I replaced it with a new GM seal(new seal #2), it still leaks.
The next day, I replace it agian with a new GM seal(new seal #3), it still leaks.

Now what?

I just bought a new timing cover and GM seals(all 3).Can I remove the cover without dropping the oil pan?

Am i doing something wrong? The Opti fits totally flat against the cover.

Help........please.

Not sure what you are doing wrong, but if you don't at least lower the front of the pan to replace the cover, you will have a leak there, too.
