i bought 1.6 self aligning roller rockers for my motor that has le2 heads and 847 cam will they work ok? iam asking becuase i see alot of ppl going with non self alining rockers whats the pros and cons?

 

With that type of head/cam combo, it is recommended that you use a NSA rocker and guideplate setup.

 

Idk man. Because I have the self aligning ones. I rev my motor out to almost 7k and still works fine. Although I do only have 2k miles or so on the motor. So take it as you will.

 

depends on you spring, valve and lock combo. most guys go NSA because they are running a +.050 lock and keeper to get more installed height for the bigger lift. In the end they end up with a fitment problem with SA rockers and the keepers.

 

sorry i forgot all about my post the head are le2 and the cam is a gm847.
