going from v6 to v8 in 96 camaro????

going from v6 to v8 in 96 camaro????

what exactly would i have to do to change my 96 camaro to a lt1?
would the lt1 wiring harness work with my headlights and gauges?
can i use the same K member and just cahnge the mounts
anything will help

Well of course motor, then tranny, after that exhaust and id say different computer. Unless you're really attached to your car it'd be cheaper to just buy an z28

I just am finishing a LT1 swap into a 1994 Camaro. If you dont have a complete parts car...it WILL cost you a ton of $!!! I had a parts car and it still is costing me more than i planed. But i'd say change the cross member and all the susp. Since the LT1 is heavier. Also dont for get about the fuel pump and the radiator.

the suspension is done i was just wondering about the wiring harness and k member?

About the cross member I dont know if it works since I just used a Z28 one. As for the wiring, all my lights work and guages. I change the guage cluster to the 150mph one tho. Hope that helps
