Im getting the TPIS Long Tube Headers for my 96Z. I'm going with the y-pipe without cats. These headers do not have the EGR or A.I.R. fittings (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong). So what do I do about the AIR pump and all the EGR components? Will I be getting a SES Light? Any other input is appreciated. Thanks.

you can have them programed out of the PCM. If you do that, you wont get codes and you can just pull out the unessesary components from the car.

 

you'll have to get some block off plates. not sure how or where they go (been away from lt1s for awhile).

and yes you will get an ses light but that can be programed out.

 

Got my EGR plates from SJM. Do a search. I just took my AIR pump off and put tape on the hole in my CAI. Still have to go buy the correct vacuum plug for it. Still have to get the PCM reprogrammed too one of these days. Might just wait until my dynotune next january to get that programmed out. Not worth the cost seperately to me anyway.
