I have an LT1 in my garage out of my '96 that I'm going to be putting into my '70 and I'm really just looking for some advice on what kind of setup to run. I'm having the heads ported right now, not sure how much but they're being done professionally so I assume they'll be flowing a lot. I want to get a cc306 but I've been reading that if you put one in a 4th gen you're gonna need 4.10's. I'm gonna be running a TH-350 or possibly a built 700, so am I going to run into a dead low-end without doing gears and convertor?

Keep in mind though that I have a hard-on for top end power so I don't want it to die off early like an L98.
