Go with true duals or cutout??

Keep in mind I'm just looking to improve sound first and performance second right now. I had initially planned on 2.5 duals w/ xpipe and bullets. I've heard this setup and loved the way it sounds but I'm afraid I may get a little tired of the resonance after awhile. I like the option of being able to go from normal to LOUD with the cutout but haven't actually heard an LT1 running an e-cutout. What's your guys opinions? And if anyone has a soundclip of a LT1 running an e-cutout I'd appreciate if you could post it. Thanks alot.

Well i just installed my cutout about 3 weeks ago on my car and love it. I went with the DMH cutout and it works great. I love being able to switch back and forth between the hooker catback sound and the cutout. The cutout is pretty loud. But it sounds good imo. I like to cruise around town with it open but on the freeway i like the option of being able to close it so i don't get annoyed. Also its a lot easier to have a conversation with it closed. What mods do you have right now? If i were you i would go with the E-cutout. If you do get the DMH. It is the best hands down.

IMO if your going for sound then go for the X-pipe and bullets, thats what Im going to do. Personally I think cutouts sound plane nasty. Sure it still sounds good but a good true dual setup will sound wayyyy better and you won't loose much HP over a cutout, 1-5hp i bet. Duals all the way
