Ok this is a video my car with 2 1/2" true duals into an X pipe then into Sweet Thunder (same as GMMG) chambered mufflers and out of the side right before the rear tires.

Oh crap I didn't even notice you were so closed to me untill I was looking on your site for pics of that setup from under the car and saw the first state f-body association sticker...

So do you have shots of how that system look that might not be either in the grass or from under the car?

No, no pics from on pavement or underneath yet. I'll try to get some soon.

Yeah it doesnt pop on decel or anything, just when reving, and 1 pop when shifting. It's not as bad as it sounds there.

I have that same setup except under the axle and out the back. Mine is a 3 inch untill after the X pipe too with cats (blown out at the moment) and the 24" sweet thunders. Is it just me or does it sound like a jet from inside the car at high rpm's?

Lol. Yeah a Jet engine. My friend started talking about after burners when i floored it, so i guess he thinks so too. I couldnt imagine 3". That has to be extremely loud. I went with 2.5" because i didnt think 3" would fit. I'm glad i stuck with 2.5" becuase i would have had no ground clearence for my side exits. Are the 24 inch mufflers any quieter? I was worried about heat since mine are welded to the body of the car.

Re: GMMG true duals and side pipes video

yeah with the cats ground clearance is TERRIBLE I am raising the car back up right now because of it, should be OK when I do that but damn with the 1" drop it was maybe 1-1.5" off the ground in the center of the car so it high centered on EVERYTHING!!! I only went 3" because I got the 3" x and all the mandrel bends from a friend that had them. It is tappered down to 2.5" after the X and into the 2.5x24" sweet thunders so its not that loud, well with the cats blown like they are right now it is a lot louder but with cats its very pleasant... but thats coming from a guy that drove open longtubes for 1.5 years everyday before getting an exhaust system BTW I have longtubes on mine so its a smooth high pitch ferrari sound above 4k, pretty exotic from in the car

yeah exotic is how i would describe the sound. I think it would sound a little less raspy with cats, but to me it sounds just fine. I drove an open Y on stock manifolds for 6 months. That's the crappiest you can make these cars sound Lol.

NOT same as gmmg. If you've ever seen inside a GMMG muffler you'd know why

Here are some pics of the Sweet Thunder mufflers inside that i took. Are you sure they arent the same as a GMMG muffler? I have been told by several people they are.
