Job well done, nicely said Bersaglieri...Lol, yeah right, like you can actually rip off the REAL thing. To my knowledge, GMMG is the most, or one of the most expensive exhausts...if they were makeable at home, who would actually buy the things? Puh-LEEZ!!!!

IMO, don't waste money on midlengths, get the LT's. FLP's are a 10 minute cat/OR pipe swap also............I have been more than happy with my set. Plus I can vouch for the kick assness of the FLP/GMMG (w/cats). I will try and get some sound online before and after cam..........

Once I get the cat in there, Im sure me and mike... ahem, Mike and I... will revive this thread for an update on the orp vs cat ordeal.
Thanks for your praise mike, and thumbs up to Bersaglieri for his sales pitch. Thats a good sales pitch for a non-GMMG rep.

I don't mean to direct this at anyone, but GMMG is not one of the highest price catbacks out there, it is up there with a whole host of others like Corsa, B+B, Borla, etc........All high quality SS systems. Plus GMMG includes shipping in their price, and believe me, its very costly to ship, as it basically comes assembled to your door (not including tips there is one place you need to connect).
And before the LM people come in here and say something about the LM costing 1/2 as much, all the LM is is 3 in piping with a resonator, any muffler shop could probably build you a LM for 1/2 of what SLP hits ya for, plus if you have an LT1 you have to buy an install kit anyways (at least last I checked you did), and you have to pay for shipping also.
I think some people buy LM's, flowmasters, etc for the low cost, as for many of us that is a driving factor for our purchases. People that buy the GMMG do it becasue they want the sound...........(not saying that the others don't buy it for the sound, just saying it is a lot cheaper). It probably doesn't flow any better than any other catback out there and definitely is on the higher end of the cost arena, but it does sound totally different (and superior IMO) to any of the others out there, thats why I ponied up the money. That and I got it on GP, lol. Plus it looks pretty bad *** when you see a car with those chambers on em.

GMMG
As for Faceless Z, yes, I bet they would be close, and since I am getting a hefty Government tax return soon, I may be able to tell you what the TPiS LT's sound like coupled with GMMG. Speaking of that, how do you like them? Gains? Sound? Clearance?
I also agree with sleeperZ96BT and his analysis. Nicely done.
Keep us updated Bob, wish I could hear it...
--And for all to know, I spoke with GMMG today. Ron assured me that their exhaust is completely "made in house." He said the cat-back is designed by the owner and is dyno tuned. They buy their stainless steel raw and make the catback basically from scratch. As for the mufflers, those are also "made in house" they do not use any from an alternate source. He said other chambered mufflers are not the same at all, and upon comparison it can be seen. Even with similar setups will not sound at all the same. The owner himself designed the muffler and catback to make a specific tone, sound and performance gain.--
--Also If you have any LT1 questions when you call GMMG just ask for "Mike" I was pleasantly surprised today to find out he is their "LT1" guy on staff.--
