If so, I had them weld up my catless TD's as well when I drove up with open headers - they did a great job . The whined a bit at first about how loud it was going to be, and kind of tried to convince me to use a cat or a "real" muffler...not a chance in hell!
your exhaust thread is what made me decide to get that exhaust

Haha I agree, that video gave me inspiration for my car.

DRIVEFASTKEEPLEFT, did it really have stock heads on it in that video? Sounds like you are reving to 6800-7000 in that video, I know my tach looks buried when I am turning 6600rpm and you went past that in that video it seems.

Either way, very cool and here's a in-car video of my 847 car:

Stock heads but gasket matched. Thats it. I was reving the car close to 6800 back then without a dyno telling me I was maxed out around 6200. Now with the set of heads I have on the car, and spraying 200, it pulls to 6700 and thats my peak. I WILL have new motor and nitrous passes up on youtube very soon.

Thanks for the compliments guys. These LT1's can still sound tough.

What did you end up using for a shift point once you found that it peaked around 6200 (on stock heads)?

6200, that way I'm right about 6300 when I shifted. Made a big different at the track going from 6700 to 6300.

Cool, that's right about what my "butt dyno" told me was the best shift point (63-6400rpm)

Can you shoot me a PM with what times you ran and stuff?
