i have a full set that i don't need, willing to let them go for $30 (should be $20) shipped.
I needed the adjustable guide plates for my setup, let me know if you are interested.

yeah, my bad, just realized i was looking at the price of the adjustable ones that i just picked up.
it would be $20 shipped for the set, but gmpartsdirect also charges a lot more for shipping than anywhere else.

In the description on gmpartsdirect it says it's for 90* v6 engines. I assume it dosn't matter that it's going in a v8 considering it's 90* too? Also, could guideplates be used with stock studs or are different ones required? I don't want to hijack this thread but i have one final question. It seems a lot of people go with the NSA rockers and use guideplates instead. Is there any significant advantage to using guideplates as opposed to the self aligning rockers?

Pay no attention to the V6 blurb. They are the correct plates.
NSA and guideplates are more stable at higher RPMs, since the control of any deflection is at the beginning of the motion (at the pushrod) and not at the end (at the valve stem).
