GM additive...Is the autozone ok?
#2
i wouldnt risk it either way, i know the gm stuff is like 7 bux, maybe cheaper from jason or someone, but the autozone stuff is like 4+tax, and chances are you will never take the rear end cover off again unless you shell it out, so if your gonna do something, why not do it right my .02 ne wayz

the ford stuff is the best, my friend builds rearends for a living and thats what he recomends. he dose a lot of o/r trucks with rather large tires that are hard on posi cluthes
the **** stinks though
but it works great

I swear by the GM additive! I have use just about all the different stuff...autozone, ford, GM, Pep Boys.....GM rules. My rear chattered like crazy with the cheaper stuff, ford was OK, but GM seems smoother.

The boys over at Strange told me to ONLY use GM gear oil, and GM additive. They also instructed me not to use synthetics. Speaking of which, I am just about due to change the fluid on my rear.
