I had mine in a 383 with a 2800 VIG and it was good. Then i had it restalled after a tranny explosion and it is a 3600 and is just nasty compared to the 2800. Its 250 for them to restall the verter if you have had it over a year. try it and see

thanks for the reply,I have had this converter stall changed once but didn't want to do it again but if it is worth it the extra 250 isn't a lot. Building a 396 with older afr 210 heads so it should run pretty good .

I had a Yank 2800 at first and it was great... now I have a Pro Yank Extreme 3600... if I didn't have spray on the car I would go back to my 2800.

I was wondering the same thing. I also plan on doing the GM847 cam and using a 3000 stall sitting in my garage.

'94badz28, you think the car would perform better or be more driveable with the 3k stall over the 3600 Stall?

I retract my previous statement, lol. I had some unknown issues with that car after I installed the 3600 and just got them fixed today. I am VERY happy with my 3600, lol.

I ran that cam in a 383 with the 6 pump (3200?) and it was nasty. Mid to high 1.5 60' times for 11.0 at 122+
