How streetable is a GM847? Is it comparable to a cc306? Is this a good cam for a 355LT1 or are would i be better off with a different cam.(I dont know much about cams and i did use the search function) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

I love my 847. Perfectly streetable, it's quite nice actually. 847+heads+LT's+36lb injectors on stock tune (quick tune for injectors) runs awesome. The car is down right now, and when she comes back out she's gonna get a dyno tune right away.

 

I'm running that cam in my 383 right now, it pulls pretty good in a stroker from 300 all the way to 6500 plus. I think it lacks low mid torque in my set-up. But overall its a pretty nice off the shelf cam.

Lets see here... 234/242 nice duration split there and a 112LSA... yes. GM 847, IMO, is a great nitrous cam.
