Getting Rid of CATS

Whats the best way for me to get rid of my CATS on my 1997 Z28.

in your sig it looks like you already have a ORP. Have you installed your ORP yet?

Go to your local muffler shop and see if they;ll remove it for a small payment under the table. Then again, maybe that just works here...

why remove the cat when you still have stock manifolds?

Just don't through them away, keep them as if you keep the car long enough you will again need them.

To get rid of them there will be a shop somewhere that will do them for you it's just two pipes welded in place of the cats. A good shop should be able to do it in about an hour.

That won't get rid of them, that'll keep them coming back. Ethylene glycol will get rid of them.

OK. So all I need is some stainless exhaust pipe. What size pipe should I use? And should I weld it on, or clamp it on? Also, should I use a hanger so the pipe doesn't flex?

I have 3inch all the way back. Just welded a slightly smaller peice in place of the cat. Worked perfectly.
