Wink Getting Ready for Assembly

Hello guy's no more jack stands for me..lol. I'm getting ready to assemble my engine, basically an LT1 with new pistons and rods and a polished crank block was good so I had it honed except for one cylinder, had to put a sleeve on it. Any who, I wanted to know what you guys use for assembly lube and what you recommend to wash the parts and block with before I assemble..I was thinking mineral spirits for the washing...Input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jlo

compcam makes some pretty good stuff for the cam lifters and rockers. i used assembly lub for the rest cant remember the name ill do a litte lookin. i send to shop for boiling now but in the old days for the big parts like the block and heads stuff like that ive used spray on engine cleaner, let it soak and hit it with a 3000 lb pressure washer. lol. the engine cleaner seems to leave a layer of oil so it didnt rust right away and gave me time to let dry without issues. air blowing works better to dry. why not use parts cleaning solvent?

Yeah, I had the block washed and installed new cam bearings..I just wanted to get all the oil and little pieces of dirt out the cylinder walls before installing the RTA, I just got a siphon spray blow-gun for my compressor, I'll use some mineral spirits for the cleaning..
