Getting my 355 Rebuilt Questions REgards to BLOWER??

Hey Fbods.
Im getting my Fbody rebuilt. Just getting the bearings redone Since I blew them out. When I get my Motor done. IM thinking of putting a blower on it. The pistons it has are Forged Probed pistons. MY engine builder says that the compression is about 10:1. is that going to be OK for a SuperCharger. I know I cant go TO HIGH on boost Ill blow the heads off. But What PSI? can I run on a 10:1 compression LT1

8-9:1 compression, hogged out heads (think LE2 for superchargers with blower custom cam)

at very least forged pistons/rods, forged crank if possible

1.6 rockers, LT4 timing set, probably upgraded radiator... basically all bolt-ons and run like 8lbs...

LT1 would probably end up being a better FI motor than aluminum LS1 (5-bolts around each cylinder, LT1 is iron etc.)

might wanna make it a 4-bolt too...

edit: if your engine builder says comp is 10:1 that's too high.... may consider increasing the cc size on the head combustion chambers (porting). This might get you to the 9:1 you need... plus a thicker head gasket possibly?

btw, how much are you paying for all of this? machine shops around here want to ream you without lube for labor costs
